Abstract
This research dealt with the moral virtues learned from the commandments of Surat Al-An’am. The research aims to achieve several goals including an introduction of Surat Al-An’am, its goals and purposes, the disclosure of the types of moral virtues learned from the commandments of Surat Al-An’am and the statement of the impact of moral virtues learned from them. The research problem was represented by asking the following question: What are the moral virtues learned from the commandments of Surat Al-An'am? The research followed the historical-analytical descriptive approach. Among the most important results of the research, Surat Al-An’am was distinguished by its educational values which included Ten Commandments from God the Blessed and Exalted. Individuals remained in safety and reassurance. The Ten Commandments of Surat Al-An’am included: not falling into creedal polytheism by taking gods and guardians with God Almighty, benevolence to parents, forbidding the killing of children because of falling into poverty, forbidding approaching forbidden sexual relations, whether public or secret, and forbidding the killing of oneself except by right and forbidding. Also, it tackled not to devour the orphan's property except in a way that is rightful, such as in return for the care and investment of the money, considering having a perfect measurement of scales, having balance with equity, justice and justice in speech, i.e. speaking the truth even if it is harmful to the closest people to you and fulfilling the divine covenant which include the commandments of Surat Al-An’am and their impact on the soul. These verses also represent a unique model in wise education, which makes society happy under which individuals will live in safety and tranquility. Whoever contemplates these noble verses sees it as depicting a person’s relationship with the Lord; a relationship by which he attains happiness in this world and the hereafter. One of the recommendations of the research is the necessity of including the curricula in general and higher education with courses dealing with the educational and moral aspect of the Holy Qur’an and the necessity of educating young people, children and youth about the moral virtues that are included in the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah to immunize them from the danger of intellectual invasion and cultural appropriation.
