Abstract

There is no doubt that the current situation in the Arab and Islamic world, and indeed the world at large, necessitates concerted efforts to stand united against this imminent threat of terrorism in general and intellectual terrorism in particular. The seeds of terrorism can only be dealt with by standing on its causes and knowing its motives. In this subject I dealt with the following topics: I mentioned the reasons of intellectual terrorism and then dealt with the definition of terrorism in general with the statement of the meanings of the word in the Koran. Then I mentioned the concept of thought and then the definition of intellectual terrorism in particular, focusing on it despite the modern concept in its composite concept. The individual and the society. Then I mentioned pictures of the terrorist practices and their negative effects on the nation and the position of the Qur'an from them, and then concluded with ways of preventing intellectual terrorism and how to cure it in the light of the Holy Quran.
