Abstract

The research attempts to shed light on the efforts of the great scholar, Al-Muḥaddith, Sheikh ‘Abd al-Ḥaqq al-Dehlawi, in the noble Ḥadīth and its sciences. The Sheikh al-Dehlawi is considered to be one of the great leaders of the noble Ḥadīth in his era. He is the author of several books such as ´Ashe‘aah al-Lam‘aāt (in Persian language) and Lam‘aāt al-Tanqeeh Sharaḥ Mishkāt al-Masābīh (in Arabic language). he continued to serve the scientific research of the noble Ḥadīth and its sciences Throughout his life, as no one from the previous scholars in India was able to do the same, along with teaching and issuing legal opinions to people, with prominent scientific position among scholars and researchers. Indisputably, he was an Imam of the noble Ḥadīth in the Indian subcontinent. Hence, the research will focus on his most important scientific achievements in the noble Ḥadīth and its sciences.
