Abstract

This research aims to review the previous studies which played a role in scientific research in determining the impact of emotional intelligence on the effectiveness of transformational leadership, and the mediating role of wisdom. For achieving the research’s goals, the descriptive method was used. For that, the researcher selected a deductive thinking way in forming the theoretical framework. Accordingly, the research made the chapters to cover the research variables, which are: Emotional Intelligence (Self-Emotions Appraisal, Others-Emotion Appraisal, and Social Communication), and transformational leadership (Idealized influence, Intellectual stimulation, Inspiration, Empowerment), and the mediating variable (Wisdom). The research revealed that emotional intelligence has a significant impact on transformational leadership, during the existence of mediating role of wisdom, but in a low degree. And that was because of the insufficient studies, which the researcher used. Therefore, this research recommends future researchers to focus on making studies about the wisdom as a mediating variable between emotional intelligence and transformational leadership with the same sub-variables in applied research method.
