Abstract
This research aims to identify the effect of distance training through electronic media on improving job performance. The research concluded by highlighting the importance of distance training in enhancing the quality of training and reducing its costs, improving job performance, as well as its ability to transfer knowledge and skills to the work environment within the context of adapting to the new business reality, and as a solution to bypassing the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results also indicated that there is a clear impact of organizational culture and structure on the process of positive transfer of acquired skills to the work environment. In contrast, the researcher found that, despite the advantages of distance training, it is still seen as less important than normal training. The structure of the electronic training content is still subject to individual judgments and has not yet reached the desired level especially in the Arab region. The study came out with several recommendations including enhancing the culture of distance training by making continuous learning as an essential component of the work culture.
