The Requirements of Management Information Systems and their Impact on the Performance of the Organization through the Internal Environment as a Mediating Variable- An Applied Study in the Ministry of Finance, Kassala State, Sudan

Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to investigates the impact of management information systems’ requirements on the performance of the organization through the internal environment as a mediating variable. The problem of the study was the lack of benefit from management information systems in developing the performance of the organization in addition to the existence of a research gap in the relationship between the requirements of management information systems and the performance of the organization. The importance of this study emerged from the fact that it aimed to provide some scientific and practical solutions to the problems that organizations suffer from and to pursue contemporary environmental changes using modern technical methods. Methods: The study relied on the analytical descriptive approach, which is suitable for this type of study. A survey questionnaire was used to verify the problem, hypotheses and objectives of the study. The study population consisted of (1600) individuals; from this population the study sample was selected from (150) individuals at a percentage of (9%) of the study population. Results: After the analysis, the study concluded that there is a strong positive relationship between the requirements of information systems and the elements of the organization's environment as it became clear that there is a correlation between the individual's variable with organizational commitment in addition to a positive correlation between devices and organizational commitment as well as with the organizational structure. Also, there is a strong positive relationship between the components of information systems and the performance of the organization, where the personnel variable was positively associated with performance as well as the presence of a positive effect between hardware and performance as well as the association of software with a positive relationship with performance.
