Abstract
This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about foreign direct investment on some macroeconomic variables of the Jordanian economy for the period 1980-2013, using the model vector error correction; to indicate the direction of the causal relationship between the variables. The results of this study, evidence of a positive direction for the Grainger causality between FDI inflows, GDP, exports and imports on the long and short term.
