Measuring Patients' Attitudes Towards the Five Dimensions of Quality in Sudanese Hospitals- An Application to a Sample of Local Hospitals in El-Douiem Locality

Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to find out how to measure the level of quality of health services from the point of view of patients and workers in local hospitals in El-douiem locality. As well as, it aimed at providing suggestions and recommendations to hospitals to improve the quality of health services, which will reflect positively on patients. Methods: The study used the descriptive analytical approach, and a sample of 130 patients and 92 employees of local hospitals El-Douiem locality were distributed. Results: The study found that there are statistically significant differences between the response of the respondents all in favor of those who agreed that the tangible element refers to the material facilities, devices, equipment, places and waiting halls for patients. Conclusion: Recently, the culture of quality has emerged in health institutions as a sound method and approach to improve and provide distinguished health services in order to meet patients' requirements, gain their satisfaction, and make full use of available resources as well as providing suggestions and recommendations to hospitals to improve the quality of health services, which will reflect positively on patients.
