The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Developing Smart Training Programs: A Case Study of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait

Abstract
Objectives: The current study aimed to demonstrate the effective role of artificial intelligence in developing smart training programs (smart training) within the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait. Methods: The study adopted a quantitative approach by distributing an e-questionnaire to a sample of 288 teachers and trainers within the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait, based on the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Results: The study concluded that artificial intelligence, in its dimensions (personalized training, customized content, enhanced interaction and engagement, periodic evaluation, and real-time support), impacts the development of smart training programs and formulates what is meant by "smart training" within the training plan of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait. Among the variables adopted in the study, "customized content" proved the most influential, recording a beta value of 0.851 with a high effect compared to other variables. Conclusion: The study recommended enhancing the various experiences, qualifications, and skills of individuals in the field of artificial intelligence, in addition to ensuring that artificial intelligence is employed in the training process in a responsible and ethical manner, taking data privacy into account. It is expected that the current study will raise the awareness of trainers and teachers at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait about the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in the training process and direct their interest towards maximizing the benefits of artificial intelligence in the training process.
