Abstract
Objectives: This study titled with "The Derived and Non-Derived Verbs and Their Impact on Transitivity and Intransitivity in the Poetry of Baha' al-Din Zuhayr", was initiated out of a desire to explore and uncover the secrets of the Arabic language and the movement of its verbs between transitivity and intransitivity. It examines the effect of this linguistic phenomenon on the evolving meanings within the poetic context. Methods: The study adopts a descriptive, analytical, and statistical approach. It examines the movement of verbs, both derived and non-derived, transitive and intransitive, within various contexts and structures. The research analyzes these verbs in terms of their forms, morphological patterns, weights, meanings, and semantic implications across different linguistic contexts. Conclusions: Throughout the study, the verbs found in Baha' al-Din Zuhayr's poetry were analyzed in relation to their morphological structure and the extent of their close connection and coherence with meaning and semantic implications as they appear within Arabic sentence structures and syntactic contexts.
