Use of Control Maps to Measure the Quality of University Students In the Educational Process

Abstract
The application of the quality management approach in the various productive and service institutions in developed countries is a distinguished management method in educational institutions. The application of this system in higher education is one of the important foundations in the development of universities and Qualification of graduate students. And that the quality of education is a guarantee for the outcomes of education to be qualified to lead the community thus, there is a need to apply the quality management approach in higher education to improve the level of university performance and employ advanced technology for the benefit of the educational process. The process of measuring quality in higher education is based on three pillars (student, curriculum, professor). Therefore, the research aims to study this approach by taking the criterion of the student the focus of the educational process through the results of their academic achievement. To achieve this, the researchers suggested using qualitative control maps in both quantitative and descriptive methods, by taking samples from the students of the Department of Statistics in all stages of the College of Management and Economics – University of Baghdad 2016-2017. So that the student product and the production process teaching that the defect is the failed student (the deposit), with the development of proposed control panels another can measure the student's efficiency.
