Abstract
This study aims to test the role of re-engineering processes as one of the most modern administrative methods in obtaining competitive precedents. It was conducted on a sample of the most important Algerian institutions and in the most important sectors (milling sector). The study reached a number of results, The most important of which is that there is a positive correlation relationship and statistically significant effect for each dimension of process re-engineering (procedural dimension, human and technological) in acquiring competitive precedents (improving quality, encouraging creativity, controlling costs, controlling time factor, and achieving flexibility in action and reaction to events). It was followed by a set of recommendations and procedural proposals that call for the application of grinding industry institutions of the re-engineering process of administrative in order to acquire one or more of the competitive priorities as strategic sources to achieve superiority over their competitors and ensure their survival and continuity in light of the opening of Algerian markets to foreign competition and open up wider fields to penetrate and compete effectively in international markets.
