Effect of deming methodology on learning and innovation at islamic banks in Jordan

Abstract
The study aimed at measuring the effect of Deming methodology on learning and innovation as one of the balanced scorecard dimensions at Islamic banks in Jordan. Analysis unit was the employees of the Islamic banks in Jordan. Where the questionnaire was developed and distributed to (410) employees, and (302) questionnaires were retrieved from various Islamic banks in Jordan that rate (73.6%) of the total distributed questionnaires. The results of study showed a statistically significant effect of the fourth dimensions of the Deming methodology (planning, do, check and act) on learning and innovation. The study recommended the need for more studies to be conducted to identify the effect of Deming methodology on performance within the various non-islamic banks organizations. The study also recommended that special attention about documenting the result of the changes taking place in improved process, and the need to make the employees feel the importance of their suggestions for changes or improvisent.
