Abstract
The study aimed to measure the impact of the knowledge management infrastructure on the innovation process and products of Munir Sukhtian Group Trading Company. A questionnaire was designed to collect data from the surveyed company and its validity and reliability was tested. The study population consisted of all company employees and the study sample consisted of top and middle level managers. As for the sampling unit it consisted of (140) managers, heads and deputy heads of the departments, sales supervisors and team leaders at the Head Office of Munir Sukhtian Trading Group Company. in Amman. (101) of the managers were randomly sample selected. The study used analytical descriptive methodology and arrived to the following main conclusions: There is a high level of IT. There are medium levels of other components of the knowledge management infrastructure (physical structure, physical environment, general knowledge, organizational culture, and organizational structure) and innovation process. There is a high level of Munir Sukhtian Group Trading Company's products represented in two types; the value-added products and the knowledge-based products. There is a statistically significant impact at (α= ≥0.05) of the knowledge management infrastructure with its components (IT, physical environment, general knowledge and organizational structure) in the company’s commercial products and innovation process. There is an apparent impact for the organizational culture component. The study presented a set of recommendations, most notably: There is a need to strengthen and upgrade the mid-levels of the knowledge management infrastructure, which consists of the physical structure, general knowledge, organizational structure and organizational culture in the company, while maintaining high levels of IT.
