Abstract
This study aims to highlight the impact of work stress on the performance of employees at King Khalid University during the period 2018-2020. The study used the descriptive analytical research method using the statistical program for analysis spss and reached the following main results: The workload affects the performance of workers for their work, but the more their skills, the greater their ability To overcome that, and the pressures of work at the university represent an important part of the performance obstacles for workers due to the nature of the work of the university, She recommended that organizations must know the main reason for the emergence of work stress from its inception, and not at the end of the matter in order to be able to address or mitigate its negative effects, and the university must pay attention to the psychological and behavioral aspect of the worker before paying attention to the obligation to accomplish what is required to accomplish the tasks and tasks, because that interest It generates a feeling of enthusiasm and a desire to work.
