Abstract
This study dealt with evaluating the performance of higher education institutions from the perspective of total quality management, and the questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, and the researchers followed the descriptive and analytical approach to data analysis. And they reached several results, including: The lack of adoption of the philosophy of performance evaluation by Sudanese public universities does not contribute to the required level in developing the performance of the teaching staff and administrators due to the absence of clear plans and the lack of a sufficient number of qualified faculty members, and there is support and support by the higher management for continuous evaluation, which He contributed to the development of the curriculum And provide her with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of specialization. The researchers recommended the necessity of paying attention to the philosophy of continuous evaluation for the purpose of developing the performance of the faculty members by disseminating this culture and educating workers of its importance, and setting clear and specific plans for its application, and attracting and appointing an adequate and qualified number of faculty members in order to achieve the continuous evaluation of educational services.
