Abstract
University education institutions are characterized by the breadth of their activities, the diversity of their fields, and the multiplicity of departments within them, This leads to the interest in developing its administration to match the increase in the level of services it provides to the beneficiaries, Knowledge management is one of the most important pillars that help in institutional development, as it has greatly affected the level of performance of the various educational sectors. And it became clear through the results of many surveys that there are many phenomena that the educational sector suffers from in Khamis Mushatt, the researcher believes that it represents a presentation of the study problem, the current study aimed to clarify the concept of knowledge management and its role in developing the performance of employees, and then developing the university education sector. The researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach to achieve this goal .
