The role of Arab funds in finance economic development in Sudan (2000-2020)

Abstract
The availability of finance is necessary for economic development. Therefore, this paper is aims to reveal the role of Arab funds in finance economic development in Sudan, this is done through the historical review of finance provided by them. The importance of this paper in the fact that gives a detailed study of all projects financed by this fund through the period (1971-2020). The methodology followed in this paper is both the historical descriptive and analytical to describe the historical development of financing, and the analytical and statistical methodology to know the role of these funds in financing development. The sources for this paper include secondary sources, References, official government documents, reports, and the international information network (the Internet). The paper result include: The relationship is positive between financing provided by Arab funds and spending on economic development in Sudan, but it is a weak relationship, amounting to 0.22 The financing provided by Arab funds represents about 0.72 of spending on economic development. One of the most important recommendations made by the paper is that it is necessity minimizing dependence on foreign finance and depend basically one local resources.
