Abstract
This study aimed to identify the role of job satisfaction in organizational citizenship. The study followed the descriptive and analytical approach. The field study population may be from government ministries in the State of Kuwait, and the study sample consisted of (117) respondents from employees who occupy senior positions in higher management in these ministries. The study showed that there is a role for job satisfaction in enhancing public commitment in government ministries in the State of Kuwait. It was also found that there is a role for job satisfaction in promoting civilized behavior in government ministries in the State of Kuwait. The study recommended the necessity of exerting efforts that would help the workers to meet their needs and solve the problems they face at work as they contribute to increasing their satisfaction. And work to inculcate the behavior of organized citizenship among workers in government ministries in the State of Kuwait by encouraging them to help their colleagues, avoiding stirring up disputes at work, and using their time at work.
