Impact of emotional intelligence on organizational effectivness in Kuwaiti commercial banks

Abstract
The present study aimed to demonstrate the impact of emotional intelligence (social skills, self-regulation and the use of emotions, emotional perception, and scientific qualifications) on organizational effectivness in Kuwaiti Commercial Banks. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used by using a data collection tool (questionnaire). The measurement of emotional intelligence and organizational effectiveness was also developed. The study tool was distributed manually (by hand) to a suitable sample of (350) male and female employees of Kuwaiti Commercial Banks. The study results showed a statistically significant effect at the level of significance of emotional intelligence on organizational effectiveness in Kuwaiti Commercial Banks. The results of the study also showed that emotional intelligence explains (46%) of the changes in organizational effectiveness. The study recommended the adoption of training programs to develop the intellectual capabilities and skills of employees to raise the level of their performance in Kuwaiti commercial banks, which will reflect positively on organizational effectiveness.
