Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the effect of an electronic educational program based on the Sachman investigative model in developing the tenth-grade students' attitudes towards the subject of earth and environmental sciences in Karak governorate. The study sample consisted of (69) students from the tenth-grade students randomly distributed into two divisions, one of the divisions was randomly chosen to represent the experimental group, which consisted of (33) students who studied using the electronic educational program based on the Sachman investigative model, and the other division represented the control group. And it consisted of (36) students who studied in the usual way. The study tools consisted of an e-learning program based on the Sachman investigative model designed by the researchers, and a scale of attitudes towards Earth sciences. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average performance of students in the experimental and control groups on the dimensional trends scale in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended that teachers of earth and environmental sciences in particular, and sciences in general, should adopt the Sackman model as a method of teaching and present it electronically because of its impact on the development of students' attitudes.
