Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the awareness of social studies teachers of the importance of virtual tourism in Jordan after the Corona pandemic; the qualitative approach was adopted. The study sample (study individuals) consisted of (32) social studies teachers in the Ramtha district, who were chosen by the intentional method. They showed a great importance of advanced technologies and virtual reality techniques, especially in promoting Jordanian tourist attractions, and the results indicated that virtual tourism contributed to finding an alternative to real tourism through virtual experiences that meet the desires of tourists as an alternative in times of crisis, especially during the Corona pandemic and beyond. The study recommended the necessity of emphasizing the importance of the virtual arena by activating it in a scientific and thoughtful manner by designing modern technological applications that contribute to the promotion of Jordanian tourist attractions, especially in times of crisis.
