Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to investigate the challenges and opportunities of remote work In Palestine after the COVID-19 pandemic and propose a roadmap to address potential challenges and leverage available opportunities. Methods: To achieve the study's objectives, the researcher employed a qualitative analytical approach based on the application of grounded theory methodology in analyzing the data collected from a purposive sample of 44 individuals. The SWOT analysis was used to study the challenges and opportunities facing remote work by mapping them onto the external dimensions of PESTEL+ analysis. This allowed for the examination of political, economic, social and cultural, technological, environmental, legal, ethical, and demographic challenges and opportunities for remote work in Palestine after the COVID-19 pandemic. Results: The study concluded that there is no comprehensive and regulating legislation for remote work in Palestine, and the absence of legal protection for workers, especially in the field of freelancing, is one of the most important challenges facing remote work and freelancing.
