The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Applications on the Development of the Educational Process

Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to reveal the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in the educational process and to explain the effects of these applications as well as the challenges facing their use. Methods: The researchers employed a descriptive approach to achieve the research objectives. Results: The results identified several challenges associated with AI applications in education. The most significant issue was weak internet connectivity in schools and, for some students, at home. Additionally, some teachers struggled to use AI applications due to a lack of experience with these technologies. Furthermore, some AI applications may not align with societal values, particularly free applications that might include disruptive ads or content contrary to these values. Conclusions: Based on these results, the study recommends focusing on the integration of AI applications into the educational process, addressing the needs and requirements of both teachers and students, and equipping schools with essential modern AI applications that support education.
