Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to investigate the reality of institutional creativity and its relationship with organizational behavior in government schools in the Sultanate of Oman from the perspective of teachers. Methods: To achieve the study objectives, a descriptive correlational approach has been used. A questionnaire consisting of two axes: institutional creativity and organizational behavior, has been applied on a sample of 383 male and female teachers in government schools in North Al Batinah and Al Buraimi Governorates in the Sultanate of Oman. Results: The results obtained from the study found that the level of institutional creativity and organizational behavior in government schools in Sultanate of Oman, from the perspective of teachers, was found to be very high overall. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between the dimensions of institutional creativity and the dimensions of organizational behavior in government schools in the Sultanate of Oman. The strength of the correlation ranged from weak to moderate, indicating that as the level of institutional creativity in schools increases, the organizational behavior also increases. Conclusions: Based on the previous results, the study recommends the ministry and directorates to implement the ideas generated by innovators in real-life situations. School administration supervisors should be directed to enhance collaboration between schools, educational institutions, and strategic partners to exchange innovative ideas and practices.
