Abstract
The current research aimed at identifying, the direct and indirect effects of variables perfectionism, locus of control, passing through self-efficacy, and self-handicapping. To achieve the goals of study the researchers used four instruments consisted scale of self-handicapping, perfectionism, locus of control, and has built a scale of the self-efficacy. after has been translated and ensure of the validity of the translation, the psychometric properties has been get of the four scale (validity and reliability), four scales were applied in (400) students chosen cluster randomly. The results of current study showed. There were relationships between the variables. The independent variables (perfectionism, locus of control, self-efficacy) contribute to the variable self-handicapping. There is a direct site of perfectionism and tuning effects through self-efficacy effectively in selfhandicapping, larger than the indirect effects on the self-handicapping. The current research has reached a number of recommendations and suggestions, according to the results of current research.
