Abstract
The study aimed to know the role of the educational family in preserving the Islamic identity from the point of view of the parents in Madinah through its dimensions and its four components (religion, history, culture, values and ethics). The study sample consisted of 416 families of parents in Madinah, They were randomly selected by cluster. The most important results of the study: The degree of the role of the educational family in maintaining the Islamic identity from the point of view of parents on the axes as a whole came very high, there are differences of statistical significance to the degree of educational role And the absence of statistical differences in the other aspects of the sample agreement on that result. There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of the educational role of the family in preserving the Islamic identity In the overall aspects, due to the variable of the study (social status, educational level, monthly income). The study concluded with a set of recommendations in the light of its findings.
