Abstract
This study aimed on recognizable the effect items format of multiple choice and true-false on psychometrics properties according two-parameter logistic model of the (IRT), two format of computer test have been created: multiple choice and True-false, In its final format consisted of (24) items. The test has been applied on (421) students. The results showed no statistically significant differences in the item difficulty between the test formats, however he results revealed statistically significant differences in the item discrimination were in favor of True- false test. On the other hand, the results showed no statistically significant differences in the empirical reliability between test formats. The results of the research recommend educating teachers to the types of tests they use so that the two types contain multiple choice, right and wrong, and use the right and wrong paragraphs on a wider scale than it is now being more discrimination.
