Abstract
The present study aimed to determine the degree of availability of Tabuk primary stage family education teachers' life skills Their point of view and its relation to students' academic achievement. The research used the analytical descriptive method and applied a questionnaire on a random sample of the family education teachers of the primary school in Tabuk, (33) teachers were selected by stratified sampling. Grades of the first semester of the academic year 1439-1440H for students evaluated in family education course, were used to reveal the relation of students' academic achievement to teachers' life skills .Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, ANOVA and spearman correlation coefficient were used to reach study results. Results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the degree of availability of life skills among the teachers of the family education course for the primary stage in Tabuk city due to the variables (academic qualification or years of experience) or the interaction between them. A strong correlation between the availability of life skills for female teachers and the academic achievement of female students. The higher the degree of availability of life skills for female teachers, the higher the academic achievement of female students. Based on these results, recommendation and suggestions were provided.
