An evaluation of the education supervision experts’ program in the specialized institute for training in the Sultanate of Oman, in light of the stufflebeam model

Abstract
This study aims to measure the degree of effectiveness of the educational supervision experts' program at the Specialized Institute for Professional training of Teachers in the Sultanate of Oman in preparing graduates who are able to exercise their supervisory duties from the perspectives of the graduates of supervisors, in light, in light of the Stufflebeam Model for Multiple Decisions (Stufflebeam Model CIPP). They employed the descriptive approach using e-instrument, which included 48 items categorized in three main domains of the multiple decision model (context and inputs, processes and outputs). This questionnaire was applied on a sample of 103 male and female graduates' supervisors of the program. Results of study revealed that the degree of effectiveness of the educational supervision experts' program was medium, with (M=2.31), and the degree of importance was in high with (M=2.58). The "processes" domain occupied the first rank in effectiveness and importance with high degree and (M=2.46, M=2.66) respectively. while the second rank was occupied by the "input" domain with a medium degree, with (M=2.32), and the same domain obtained the third rank in terms of importance and with (M=2.51). The "output" domain was achieved with a moderate degree and obtained the third rank, with (M=2.24), while the same domain came with a high degree of importance, and occupied the second place, with (M=2.57). The study recommended a set of suggested measures to improve the program, most notably: Reconsidering the program content; And planning for the program based on the supervisory tasks of the educational supervisor, educational developments, reviewing the training of supervisors on clinical and participatory supervision, and transforming the program into an academic program with a master's degree in educational supervision.
