The Effect of Covid-19 Pandemic on People of Special Needs from the Point of View of Special Education Teachers in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the effect of Covid-19 pandemic on students of special needs from the point of view of special education teachers in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The study used the descriptive survey method, and the questionnaire was adopted as a tool for data collection. It consisted of (15) items distributed into two axes, the educational dimension and the psychological dimension. The study population consisted of all special education teachers in Mafraq area. The study sample consisted of (30) teachers. The questionnaire was developed and distributed to them after completing the procedures for its validity and reliability during the first semester of the school year 2021/2022. The results of the study showed that students of special needs were affected by Covid-19 pandemic, which led to their low level of achievement and their feeling of loneliness and isolation, in addition to the absence of statistically significant differences due to the gender variable.
