Role Conflict Among Mothers of Children with Intellectual Disabilities at the Sultanate of Oman in Light of the Corona Pandemic

Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the Conflict of Roles among mothers of children with intellectual disabilities at the Sultanate of Oman. Descriptive design was used. The study sample consists of (86) respondents who were mothers of children with intellectual disabilities. The researcher developed a Conflict of Roles Scale which consist of (37) items. The results showed that the level of conflict of roles was moderate (Mean= 2.85; Percentage= 57%), according to domains, all domains were moderate, the children care domain was the most (Mean= 2.94; Percentage= 59%), followed by relationship with the self-domain (Mean= 2.85; Percentage= 58.8%), household chores domain (Mean= 2.92; Percentage= 58%) then relationship with the husband (Mean= 2.62; Percentage= 52%). According to the variables, the results showed that there was no significant difference in the conflict of roles due to the age variable, and there was no significant difference in the conflict of roles due to the type of work.
