Islamic Educational Administrative Rooting for Knowledge Management

Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to identify the methodology of rooting knowledge management based on Islamic sources as well as to define the concept of knowledge and its types in Islam. Methods: The descriptive-analytical (documentary) method was used to suit the nature of the study. Results: The study's results indicated that knowledge management components exist in Islamic sources. Conclusions: The study was able to identify four components of knowledge management: (the search for truth, reporting, restriction and memorization, working with science) where it corresponds to the components of knowledge management in modern administrative thought.
