Organizational Culture and its Relationship to the Learning Organization at the College of Education, University of Hail

Abstract
Objectives: The study aimed to reveal the relationship between the prevailing organizational culture patterns and the dimensions of the eduated organization at the College of Education at the University of Hail by defining the prevailing organizational culture, knowing the level of the dimensions of the eduated organization and the relationship between them. Methods: The study followed the descriptive associative approch and consisted of (167) male and femal members who were selected in a simple random way. It used the Organizational Culture, Assessment Instrument (OCAI) and a questionnaire which were used to measure the practice of the dimensions of the edcuated organization. Results: The results indicated that the prevailing pattern is the type of tribe, then followed by market culture and hierarchical culture (bureaucracy) at the third level, and the creativity pattern was at the last rank. It also showed that there is a medium level in the practice of the dimensions of the education, which amounted to (2.88), where it came the " learning " dimension ranked first, with an arithmetic average of (3.02), and the dimensions ranged from (2.95-2.75), with moderate level, which is the knowledable and technology, organization and individuals. It was found that there is a statistically significant correlation at the level (alpha less than or equal 0.05) between the levels of estimating the prevailing organizational culture patterns and the levels of practicing the educated organization as it ranged between (0.38-0.49). With organizational culture patterns, the highest pattern was the tribe pattern (0.49) and the lowest was the hierarchical pattern (0.38). Conclusions: The study recommended working on applying the dimensions of eduacted organizations and selecting the appropriate pattern for applying organizational culture, which is the tribe.
