Moral Hypocrisy and its Relationship with Inferiority Feeling among Graduate Students at Yarmouk University

Abstract
Objectives: The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between moral hypocrisy and inferiority feeling among postgraduate's students at Yarmouk University. Methods: In light of the demographic variables (gender, marital status, field of specialization, job), the descriptive, correlational approach was adopted. To achieve the goal of study, scales of moral hypocrisy and inferiority feeling were developed by the researcher. The study sample consisted of (530), (229) of which were males and (301) were females from postgraduate students at Yarmouk University were they selected by the available method. Results: The results of the study showed that the level of moral hypocrisy among the sample was low, and the level of feelings of inferiority was medium, and there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables of gender, specialization and occupation. There were statistically significant differences attributed to the gender variable in favor of females, and others attributed to the job variable in favor of non-employees. The results also showed a positive correlation between moral hypocrisy and a feeling of inferiority among postgraduate students at Yarmouk University. Conclusions: In light of the findings of the study, it recommended the following: conducting psychological studies to identify the causes and motives that lead to the formation of moral hypocrisy, building programs to increase awareness for all members of society about the dangers of feeling inferior to individuals and society, and conducting a study similar to the current study with the same variables on different samples.
