Habits of the Mind of Graduate Students in the Education

Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the level of possession of postgraduate students in the education college at al-baha university for the habits of the mind. The study sample consisted of (260) male and female graduate students (masters and general diploma in education). To achieve the objectives of the study was used descriptive approach, and the researcher built a measure of the habits of the mind to reveal the level of habits of mind among the sample of the study, has been applied during the first semester of the year 14338/1439. The results of the study showed that the level of ownership of the sample of the study of the habits of mind included in the scale was high. The arithmetic mean of the students' grades was (5.00) as follows: (Persisting: 4.10, Managing Impulsivity: 3.95, Thinking and communicating with clarity precise: 3.88, Applying past knowledge to new situations: 3.64, Thinking flexibly: 3.34). The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of possession of the habits of mind among the study sample members according to the stage of study (master / general diploma in education) and for the benefit of the master stage. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of possession of the habits of mind in the sample of the study according to the gender variable (male / female).
