Abstract
The present study aimed to analyze the master's and doctoral thesis in the field of gifted and talented approved by the Department of Educational Psychology, Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Amman Arab University, Amman, 2000 to 2017 through its characteristics; The study followed the descriptive approach in the method of content analysis. The sample consisted of (93) master's and doctoral thesis. The study found that 61.3% of the messages targeted the female sex and the students in the basic stage. Most of the research methods used are quantitative and descriptive, and most of them used the questionnaire To collect data, and that more than half of the messages did not adopt any of the theories or models in the field of gifted and talented, and in the light of the results recommended the study several recommendations, the most important call for universities and colleges to pay more attention to study gifted and talented through qualitative studies.
