Abstract
The research aims to identify the role of academic teams in entrepreneurial leadership development, and obstacles that hinder team work in the entrepreneurial leadership development among students in the Faculty of Education at Qassim University. The research used the descriptive survey method, the questionnaire was adopted as a tool for application on a sample of (246) students, the results found that the role of academic teams in entrepreneurial leadership development is achieved to a high degree, the dimensions of entrepreneurial leadership are respectively: (confidence and investment opportunities, vision, creativity and initiative), the results also found that obstacle of academic teams in entrepreneurial leadership development is achieved to a moderate degree. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in responses of the respondents about the role and obstacles of academic teams in entrepreneurial leadership development at female students due to the difference of specialization. While there are no statistically significant differences on the role of academic teams in entrepreneurial leadership development at female students due to the different level of study, there are statistically significant differences on the role and obstacles of the teams in entrepreneurial leadership development at female students due to the difference in the academic average.
