Abstract
The study aimed to reveal the level of social isolation and its relationship to mental disorders and physical diseases among elderly women in the social care home, the research sample consisted of (25) elderly women and used the descriptive analytical approach, a measure of social isolation was applied by the researcher and the use of the list of mental disorders and physical diseases in the social care home. The study concluded a set of results, the most important of which were: the presence of a high level of social isolation, the presence of differences between social isolation and symptoms of mental disorders, and the presence of differences between social isolation and physical illnesses among older women in the social care home.
