Abstract
This research aims at investigating the level of students' satisfaction with the criteria and indicators of science teachers in judging their 'scientific abilities. To achieve the objective of the research, the data were collected through an interview with a sample of (44) science teachers and a questionnaire that included (28) items derived from interview, was distributed to (675) Tenth grade students in schools in Irbid. The results showed that there are Three major criteria's (Scientific one with (15) minor criteria, personal with (9) minor criteria, and social with (4) minor criteria), Used by science teachers to judge the students' scientific abilities. The level of students' satisfaction with these criteria was generally low. In light of the results, the researchers recommended several recommendations like holding of training courses for teachers to enhance their understanding of evaluation criteria and make them aware of the importance of clarifying these standards for students.
