The reality of applying strategic planning in elementary schools, Al-Arditaini sector, Al-Qunfudah education department in light of "the education policy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the extent of school principals 'knowledge of strategic planning, and to identify the clarity of the mission, goals, and vision in the strategic plans for primary schools in Al-Qunfudah Governorate, and to know the extent of school principals' interest in the requirements of implementing the strategic plan, in addition to knowing the extent to which schools are appropriate to implement the strategic plan in the light of policy Education in public schools in Al-Qunfudah Education Department. To achieve the aims of the study, the analytical descriptive approach and the questionnaire were used as a tool to collect study data. The study community included all teachers in elementary schools in the two cross-section sectors in the Department of Education Al-Qunfudah and those targeted by research. As for the study sample, it reached (63) individuals, and the study reached a clear message, goals and vision in Strategic plans in Al-Qunfudhah’s management schools are very large and average (4.71), school principals have an interest in the requirements of implementing the strategic plan and with a very large degree and with an average score of (4.61), there is an appropriate environment for schools to implement the strategic plan in Light of the policy and a very large degree with the arithmetic average was (4.60). Among the recommendations of the study is the necessity of spreading awareness among leaders of all levels of science on the importance of strategic planning and its effective role in the educational field. Develops the capabilities of school administrators to provide them with educational workshops from distinguished cadres to prepare them and qualify them to participate in the preparation and implementation of plans of all kinds, that there be training courses by the ministry for school principals on the strategic school planning program led by competent specialists from the educational administration and planning.
