Abstract
This study aimed at recognizing the effect of using creative drama in development the skills of innovative thinking and cognitive achievement teaching of the Arabic language for fifth grade students in the capital Amman. The sample of the study was intentionally chosen it consisted of (65) students of Fifth grade, the sample of this study was distributed randomly into two groups, the first group was an experimental group that consisted of34was taught accordance from Durra alshareefa private school students who was taught according to31 to creative Drama, the second group was a controlling group which consisted Students from cartage school who was taught in accordance to the traditional methods, after the termination of teaching and after ensuring the validity and reliability in accordance to scientific bases, the innovative thinking test and Achievement test and an appropriate statistical means had been used the result showed there was statical difference in the developing creative thinking skills and achievement for fifth grade in favor of using creative drama the study ends with some recommendations to use creative drama in teaching and make more researches in other subjects study.
