Abstract

The study aimed to identify the impact of the use of podcast technique in the development of listening skills in the English language for first grade in South Batinah Governorate. The sample included (45) students of the first-grade primary school with (27) students for the experimental group, and (27) for the control group. To achieve the objectives of the study, a reading test was developed before and after the end of the study. The results showed that there was an effect on the use of podcast technique in the development of listening skill in English language for first grade students in South Batinah Governorate. The results showed that the experimental group who studied using the podcast technique increased their listening skills to the control group in the test Dimensional achievement.
